[RC] Leather on tights? Equissentials. - Susan Favro
I ride in the Equissentials leather breeches and they are
great! The fabric (French terry) is stretchy (120% stretch) and the fabric has
a wide comfort range. I’ve ridden in temps from 20 degrees up to 100+.
Personally I recommend either the endurance patch (leather from mid thigh to
ankle) or the endurance half seat (ankle to ankle leather, but not up on the
rump).
You can get the pants “off the rack” (based on
your pant size) or Equissentials will make a custom pair of breeches for you
(based on your measurements) and you pick the fabric and leather colors. There’s
no additional cost for the custom pants.
They have a recycle program so when the fabric wears out,
you can return your breeches to them and for a nominal fee they remove and
recondition the leather and put it on a new pair of pants. Recycle them four
times and the next time you get a brand new pair of breeches (new fabric and
leather). Also, if you order the custom pant and lose weight, you can have them
altered down to your new measurements at no cost (you pay shipping).
If you’re interested in Equissentials, we carry them
and our prices are LOWER than what you’ll find on the Equissentials web
site. For the custom pants, I recommend calling in your order so I can tell you
about various options you may want to consider.

>I love my Equissential full seat
endurance jods! I wish I had two! They are so comfortable and I >like
not having to wear half chaps. The fabric is sturdy and I have never had a
snag. I also have a >pair of the microfiber tights that are full seat
and the fabric is bulletproof.
