Wadduda was a gift because the Bedu rarely sold that which was precious to them.  And she is most definitely Davenport.  Her tail-female line no longer exists in Davenport breeding however she is found throughout the majority of 100% Davenport horses in other parts of the pedigree.  And she or many, many other Davenports show up in what I call “older” American Arabian breeding.

I think I read once that Wadduda was THE greatest war mare.  If she is considered Davenport, then Davenport must have bought her off the desert.  It must have taken a lot of diplomacy and/or money to wrench her away from her owner.

The Real McCoy's tail female line is thru Wadduda who is Davenport. Alot of famous horses have Wadduda thru their tale female line. Jayel Super, Fadjur, Khemosabi, Bint Sahara, Rose of Raswan, I'm sure there is more.
