Re: [RC] Christmas in May - Angie FuraI'm curious - were folks able to go to the ride this weekend? I hope it wasn't canceled! We're all getting ready for our first ride of Western Canada's dismally short season. It's a CTR - the first endurance ride was cancelled because of wet conditions. So somebody said "ride" and the snow is coming down in buckets. Hollywood couldn't have created a more appropriate Christmas card. I was going to say better, but... Optimists that we are, the people in my neighbourhood are still packing their trailers and planning to load up Friday morning. They say the sun is going to peak through later today and that the snow will magically disappear and it will be spring again. And when we hit the road, we'll be paying $4.95 (US) per gallon for gas. I'm ready to buy a harness and buggy. To quote Charlie Brown: "Sigh". Brenda K.
