If it were a decent surface, not hard pavement (unlikely), he could do that in three hours. Take along a large ice chest with several ice packs and it is do-able. I'd hate to trot a horse for three hours steady on a paved road, however.I used to pick up our two girls from grammar school, but that was only 5 miles each way, and our beloved horse also developed ringbone on all four feet by the time he was in his early 20s. I don't recommend that. I wonder how the Amish manage. Do they pad the horses' feet, or ????
