Re: [RC] Sued for Speed - where Trail Masters can help - Angie FuraThe AERC Trail Masters program is an excellent resource to learn how to build and maintain safe multi-use trails. One of the principles of the course is how to build trail in such a way that all users have a clear line of sight. Accidents happen when sharp turns or obstacles such as trees or boulders create surprises.
A Trail Master can certainly help identify opportunities for improvement and provide insight on these issues. I'd encourage anyone that is struggling with this to contact their local Trail Master.
Trace Tribute 25/55 www.tracetribute.com I have also been researching the whole issue of single track, versus multi use trails...what I have found is that most Bay ARea regional parks, many county parks and Pt.
