If you are riding without crew, get or make a belt
type. You can use the same display you use on the trail. It only
takes seconds to pull the belt from the crew bag and secure it around the
horse.
Wendy and I use this method. You can sponge
etc. and listen for the beep that indicates you have reached whatever criteria
you have selected.
