[RC] Owyhee May rides - Steph TeeterUpdate on Owyhee rides:Maps are now available for Owyhee 100 (http://www.endurance.net/ oreana/owyhee100/) and will be for Owyhee Rangelands I & II (http:// www.endurance.net/oreana/owyheerangelands/) by day's end. Owyhee 100 (Saturday) will be a 20 mile loop back to camp, the 60 mile loop to Snake River and Petroglyphs, and then a repeat of the 20 mile loop from camp. Rangelands I (Sunday) will be all holds in camp (similar to Tough Sucker) . There is also a Trail Ride on Sunday. Rangelands II (Monday) will be the Wildhorse Butte loop to the Snake River - all holds out at Rye Patch Rd vetcheck. Dinners are provided Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights for volunteers, staff and the day's riders. (not on Friday - the pdf registration form is incorrect). Extra meals may be purchased for $11. Meals by the Blue Canoe chefs (great Idaho cuisine). At this point we will not have hay for sale - unless I can find a source of bales before next weekend. It's really really dry here, but there's still some grass out there and wildflowers (a little stunted...) and the creeks are running fairly full. Bring fly spray - the gnats are out (though not as bad as previous years). 10 day forcast is hot and dry.... Travel safely - see you soon!
