[RC] re:Barbaro - Suzanne Boyd

Obviously the horse is suffering. Most of the time when a horse is injured it IS suffering. The question is how much the horse is suffering weighed against his will to live and prognosis for a happy life. And to know that, yes, you most certainly do need to be intimately involved. You need to know the horse's vitals, his attitude, his willingness to accept treatment, etc. And since *I* don't, because I'm not intimately involved, I choose to rely on the vet team at New Bolton,, who are there.

Tell ya what,,,the next time someone has a critically injured horse,,, give me a call and over the phone I'll tell you whats best for the porr horse.
Sheeesh.
