[RC] riding a non-arab means riding smart - Laney HumphreyFrom the first time I got on Dino's back, I knew he was NOT an arab. That meant I had to think about how to ride him so as not to hurt him but also to be able to complete rides. He does take longer to reach optimum condition, but I agree with what Alison reported her dressage friends are saying: the longer, slower conditioning is actually good. And since I'm happy to enjoy every minute out on the trail, it doesn't bother me if we have to go a bit slower.Laney =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
