most of the middle or back of the packers aren't in any hurry to get to the
Pulse takers ..."
This observation was not made
at a pulse gate. On this ride, the Vets did all of the official
pulsing. We pulse takers hung around where the horses were (usually the
water tank) and took pulses upon request. The houses I refer to had their
recovery followed from 30 seconds after they came in until they were good to go
to the vet.
All of the front runners, and most of
the back runners recovered very quickly, but some of the middle to back runners
took a long time to pulse down.
