[RC] Saddle suggestions for barrel-shaped horses - Karen Casemier

Nina, if you are interested in English-style saddles, check out the Duetts. I have an extremely wide, broad, flatbacked Morgan (also shortbacked), and after searching for years these saddles became available in the US. I really love the way they fit that type of horse...I've never had anything on her that fit her better.

The US distributor is great to work with as well - you can send a wither tracing in and she'll help you determine size, send you saddles to try before you buy, etc.

Unfortunately, I now have an Arab mare with a completely different back type, and am starting the hunt all over again...
