[RC] Help picking out a Manure Spreader - Lucie HessWell, this is distance riding related as the manure I will be spreading comes from my 3 Distance Horses (AERC & NATRC). I've decided I want to spread manure on my hay fields and I have one section of pasture that could benefit from extra nutrients. I want to find a small manure spreader, that doesn't need a full sized tractor to pull it around. Any brands/ models that folks have, that they have good comments about? The next issue is, what do I get to pull it with, an ATV, a small yard tractor, or a large riding mower? I don't plan to do much with what ever I get, I don't mow my yard as I have a huge pond, with a very steep dam, so I get someone who doesn't mind if his equipment falls into the pond. I know if I tried to mow, I'd be rolling the thing over on the backside of the dam and/or running smack into the pond at full power! I might like something that would have enough power to push a little snow when we get it, So, here's a recap of my questions, what type of Manure Spreader should I get and what should I pull it with? Thanks for your suggestions. Columbia, Missouri NATRC Region 6 AERC # 65 AERC Central Region OCER member __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
