The strength is improved, the loom can go faster, and the practical properties of the product are not changed. Now, if a blanket could be found where the wool yarn was 10 or 15% Nylon, we would really have an improved product, but since many consumers would assume that the Nylon in the yarn hurt the properties I doubt we will ever see this blend in saddle blankets.
