If this is the ride in Dodge City this weekend, it was going fairly well.  There were 9 horses out of the 38 mile vet check when the OES showed up and told them not to let anyone else go out.  They were 30 miles from the town in Kansas where the tornado hit so they had to cancel the race.  Dean Jackson was kicked in the back at a vet check and had surgery but I was told he will be okay.  The ride was going really well until then but there is no accounting for accidents and the weather............mb
