Patti finished fine around three a.m., Mary, with a change of saddles at the 55-mile mark. Ditto what Stephanie said about the rain and mud. I think she said it was the third loop she was ready to quit after. A lot of horses apparently failed their completion due to lameness--the footing was a nightmare in places.
