Yesterday, in the San Joaquin Valley somewhere around Los Banos or Merced, I saw gasoline at $3.50 for regular unleaded and $3.80 for premium.

I know how it feels. I planned on taking my horses out and about alot this summer and doing my first LD and doing some eventing and showing...but gas here is $3.07 for regular unleaded and it goes up everyday. Plus we have not hit the summer tourist gas price hike yet that we always get in June in Lake Placid. So I may have to tone down my plans cuz the budget can't handle the price of gas! Good thing I have lots of nice trails off the barn property...looks like I am going to be using them!

In February, regular unleaded gas was $2.08 a gallon here. Now it's $2.96 a
gallon, less than 3 months later.
