FagerWhen I was in college, we studied horse color, and the professor told us that because of all the many genes involved in color, there were about 147000 possible gene combinations. However, I went to school 10 years ago, so I can't remember the exact number he quoted, however, it was in the mid hundred thousand ballpark.
