I like the work of the photographer who has been at
the Redwood rides a few times. He sells a CD of the entire ride, every
horse and some scenery, too. It's a great bargain. I think he
charged $10.
I would have to agree with Michelle. I crewed for
many years before I finally did my first ride (Last year) and the photos were
always $5.00 for at least a 4x6, a few years ago I noticed some rides were
more expensive and not as many bought photos.
when I did my first ride last year, There were 3
photos of us. One of us checking in (mostly of my horse) and 2 more on the
trail. So Of course I went to go look for the photographer after the ride. To
my disappointment he was gone. His web site showed up here on ride camp,
so of course I wanted a photo or two. They were $30.00 a piece and I would
have like to at least of bought one of my first ride. But not at 30 bucks a
pop. so now I have no pictures of my first ride. The second ride did not even
have a photographer another disappointment.
Yes I know of the expense photographers, have but if
you make it easy on the pocket book and have the pictures back at camp you
will sell more of them. I know we always planned about $20 for
pictures.
