[RC] RV batteries revisited - Todd Hezeau

Just my opinion, but I think the 6v golf cart batteries will give you more amperage and much more life for the money. They tend to be a bit more expensive and you have to hook them up in series (pos to neg) as opposed to parallel (pos to pos) to get 12 volts. I have do not have any yet but my 12v batts are still in good shape. 6v batts will be the replacements. Here is some good info, although a bit technical: http://www.phrannie.org/battery.html and another: http://bart.ccis.com/home/mnemeth/12volt/12volt.htm
Hope this helps.

Safe Riding,
Todd
