Have done a little research on Tevis times.

Rush Creek Hans     10:43  7 Y.O.  Boyd Zontelli  1981

Bezetal              11:38         Johnston       1965

Pancho               11:18         Dardi          1968


I was passed in Forest Hill during pre riding by The Zontellis and R.C. Hans and
R.C. Eaton.  My wife was on a good horse that finished Tevis that year and my
horse was ( or so I thought) Very strong.  We were trotting flat out and they
blew by us at about our maximum rate of speed.
