I was under the impression that FEI was the be all/end all of endurance. That may still be true, but it is good to see folks with more experience airing the same types of concerns regarding the COC. FEI's positions may not be what is best (although I'm sure they have their reasons...)Of course, there are bad things that go on at AERC-sanctioned events, too. I have heard that Tevis isn't exactly kind to endurance horses. But how else do you separate the truly elite other than providing challenging events that may not be particularly safe?
