Was it
true when someone said the "Git-R-Done" course was intentionally laid out
to be a fast one to let riders get their COC's? Could these horses have
achieved these times in Malaysia?
It is true to a point. It is designed to make it easier for horses to
get a CoC due to the flat terrain. It's also designed for AERC riders to
compete in their first ride or first higher distance. We offer it as an
Elevator ride for this feature. 25,50,75 & 100.
About Malaysia, I can't answer this. I've never been there nor would
I know this course. But from my miles of experience...I would say
that GIT-R-DONE II would not help get a horse prepared for just about
any other type of ride. It's flat and the footing is
excellent. But you can get your CoC and not worry about
trashing your horse in doing so. Then prepare your horse for those other
challenges of International events.
