RE: [RC] [RC] Snow chains on trailers? - Ranelle RubinLucy,Same concerns myself..Lucky us Californians have two rides to chose from this weekend..thinking of going to Buck Meadows Boogie for the same reason. I hate hauling my horses in snow! Scares the begeeses out of me. From what I undertand, you have to chain up your truck when you are hauling,even if it has 4X4 with snow tires whenever there is even an R1 chain control. R1 is chains or snow tires, R2 is chains or 4x4 with snow tires, R3 is chains only, even on 4x4's. Wanna go south? Checked out the weather and it looks much better in Groveland.
