Great, that makes me feel much better.  I used to carry around a hand puppet named "Arnie the Armadillo".

I got him in Dallas about 15 years ago.  And puppets are a blast, they take on their own personalitiies.

well, seeing as I am way too old for stuffed animals, and I really like ravens, I saw this Raven puppet in the visitor's center in Lee Vining near yosemite one day, and I picked it up. For some reason, it started doing endurance rides with me, either in my butt pack or in its own little Raven bag attached to my saddle. He's done about 2650 miles. And he visits National Parks, and he bags peaks - he's been up on top of Mt Whitney (and signed the peak register!)

he's never been out of the country, and I wasn't going to take him, because of course I don't want to lose him, but I got talked into it.

So now the Raven trail miles on horseback in foreign countries :)

Glad I did it, because it's provided me with lots of gut-aching laughs!!
