We can tell you are having too much fun with the
Kiwi's. If you get a chance to just go do a fun Trail ride, I recommend
Pakiri Beach. (About an hour north of Auckland on the east coast).
If you tell them you are an endurance rider and book a 1/2 day or all day
ride, they will fix you up with a willing horse and a guide who will ride
until you say "whoa". You get beach riding, bush riding, sheep ranch riding and
a lunch up by a nice little lake. It was the best horse rental riding experience
of my life.
By the way, here is a hint about how to get along
with the rugby fans there. You don't have to know anything else about the
game except to say that the Australian team stinks, and the All Blacks are the
best team in the world. That's your ticket to free beers.
