[RC] - Jannelle Wilde & Adam FalkI have been giving a lot of thought to this topic and have a good comparison to offer. I compete on 2 horses during the season. One of them does it because I ask her to. She does a good job and is generally perky and pleasant. My other mare is really excited to go out and do her job. Even when she is tired and I ask her to go out on another loop she does so with excitement. For one ride we showed up a day before the event and set up camp. She was fine, not a lot of other horses around. We went for a short ride and she was her normal trail self. The next day, as soon as we had gone through the vet check-in she got into her race face. She knows the difference between riding with a bunch of trail riding friends and an endurance ride where she gets to move out for long distances. She really likes to be with me no matter what we are doing, but when it is an endurance ride she gets into it. Just my two cents. Adam Falk 584 Romie Howard Rd.
