[RC] coggins testing (texas - Tx TriggerEvery state is NOT the same. Here is the info for Texas. I bought a horse that did not have his coggins pulled yet. I stopped by the sellers vet, and they charged HER, and I had a written contract that stated if the horse was found positive, I would get a full refund. Had I not driven 5 hours to get the horse, I'd have just waited, and had it done before the sale. But I had forgot until I was almost to the ranch, as did the seller. And, if the seller does not want to pay, and I really wanted the horse, I'd just get it done myself, and have the paperwork sent to ME. http://tarlton.law.utexas.edu/dawson/eia/tx_eia.htm Texas Administrative Code Title 4, Part 2, Chapter 49.1 (l) Requirements for Change of Ownership.
