RE: [RC] [RC] knee strain and BMSS - Diana PetersonHi I have had the same problem...i ride a BM saddle and a Sharon saare saddle. In the saare i just have sometimes problems because i had a broken tailbone. With the BM saddle i am a short person ,5.2, I replaced the stirrup leathers with biothane 1 inch leathers and it is a lot less strain on my knees. However it took a while to get the muscles used to the wider twist and you don't need to post so high on a bm saddle. It also may be that your stirrups are not far enough back...you mentioned you have a trail model...the stirrups are usually further forward then on an endurance model.
