Future of El Dorado Trail to be discussed April 11
The future of the Sacramento-Placerville Transportation Corridor, commonly call the El Dorado Trail, will be discussed on April 11, at 6pm in the Marshall Building at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds.
The Joint Powers authority for the Sacramento-Placerville Transportation Corridor is beginning discussions about the use of the old railroad corridor for rail excursions. Up to this time, there has been little conversation about the use of the corridor for bikes, pedestrians, and equestrians. If you think you want to see people walking and riding between the American River Trail and Placerville and beyond, you need to come and express your thoughts. This will be the first of three tentative meetings that will encourage people to discuss how they would like to see the corridor managed. Please come to the meeting.
