George Carlin once said that if you don't see just a little bit of 
yourself in humor - it is not going to be funny so don't listen. I never 
boxed but I laugh my till I cry every time I hear Richard Pryor talk 
about when he wanted to be a bad ass boxer.

Bottom line some people like humor - some don't. Some see it as a lift 
for the day. My advice is if you don't like it or "don't get it" - don't 
go to comedy club or don't read it.

satirist makes fun of the world; the humorist makes fun of himself."

The rest of us enjoy it. Hell I even hear Angie's parole officer laughed 
till he cried when he read Angie's book.
