Re: [RC] newbie question re holds and crew - John Teeter

does that mean that a crew is necessary at such rides?

I doubt it. I can't think of a LD sanctioned by AERC where it is NECESSARY to have a crew.

i've done some ctr's and they ride management always had a truck which
would cart the riders' vet check stuff to the vet check area if it
were away from camp. is that done at endurance rides?

This is the general practice for endurance rides.

are there some rides that absolutely require a crew?

Some would say Tevis absolutely requires a crew, but it's been done by riders w/o crew support.

these seem like basic questions but i can't find the answers in any of the newbie pages.

That should be corrected!!:)

thanks in advance!
