Re: [RC] ? Freeform enduro?-- - Barbara McCraryI just recently purchased a FreeForm Classic model and the particular point I noticed right away is the "grippy" feeling of the Italian calfskin it's made of. It allows me to hold onto it with my legs much better than other saddles with hard, slick cowhide (I guess that's what it is.) The calfskin is soft, somewhat like kidskin...almost "spongy", but that doesn't describe it quite well enough. Anyway, it does give me more grip than any other saddle I've ridden. I rode a HARD 20+ miles on Sunday, very steep both up and down, and felt in complete control at all times. I had not ridden that far or that hard in almost 3 years, and I was only mildly saddle sore on Monday. Today I am not sore at all. My horse, who has a wide flat back, is happy with it, because it doesn't bore into his shoulders on downhills. And anyone who knows our terrain around here knows we have LOTS of steep downhills (or up, depending on which direction we're going. :-))Barbara Oh, yes, my horse was doing a few moderate gyrations upon meeting up with a bunch of Boy Scouts with backpacks over in the park where we were riding on Sunday. I stayed with him! ----- Original Message ----- From: "L gin" <ladurgin@xxxxxxx> To: <Ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, March 20, 2007 10:21 PM Subject: [RC] ? Freeform enduro?--
