Re: [RC] BC2A - rides2farWhere would one look for BC2A? Sherry Brunkhardt I just put BC2A into Google and their website came up. Barney Flemming sells it apparently. The claims on the site are: Reduces lactic acid levels by up to 50% reduces heart rate during training by up to 15% Spares effects of associated trauma from exertion Enhances skeletal muscle adaptation to exercise training Provides preferential supply to the body's buffering system Plenty of stuff on there about it helping avoid tying up. As for my horse, he eats well, no sign of tying up or cramping, has never looked stiff after a ride, isn't heavily muscled. Trains on hills. I wouldn't mind trying to give him a little help handling the effort of his first 100 if it was available in a tube, but have no interest in throwing money away. We won't be going for speed. I don't feed any other additives. He gets grain, hay and a salt block, home made electrolytes only during competition. I'm a minimalist but if somebody can prove to me it makes a real difference in reducing "the burn" during competition, I'd be interested, but at $10 per tube, I highly doubt it would become a habit with me.
