To me, the answer has as much to do with how you feel about driving after finishing 2 days of riding. I prefer to rest that night and go home the following day, but work schedules and other aspects of life don't always allow that. If your trailer is decent, has good springs, tires and floor and if your horse has recovered well, travelling 4-5 hours after finishing a ride shouldn't be a problem for her.
