IMHO...folks need to become responsible breeders.

If a person can afford to shoe a horse. If a person can afford to buy
tack. If a person can afford to buy fuel for their rig.

Then a person can afford to call the Vet and give their horse a humane
death. And after that, call the rendering truck.
