At the '96 ROC University of GA was there doing some sort of study where they drew blood prior, at the end and 1 hour after the finish on horses that finished or after getting pulled if the horse didn't finish.About 4 months later I got back the statistical review on all the horses and the blood analysis on my horse. I showed it to my vet and he was extremely surprised at the results - for just the reason that it didn't look normal.
