 There was court involvement and the worst horses were taken from the 
premises. The mare we purchased was sold after the fact, the horses that 
were legally removed were re-registered with minimal paperwork because 
there was a paper trail from the court system. My understanding is that 
the owner was told at their hearing to get rid of the rest, so he dumped 
them at various auctions across the state. Whether or not there was a 
written order to back that up I have no idea.
