When I was in Chris Martin's booth at convention, I listened to what he had to say about this. He said two specific things: One, you must be sure there is a finger width room under the front of the saddle, and that your pad is fully up into the bend in the saddle. The second is that he does have some sort of shim that can be put into the HAF pad designed for this saddle that may help. You can contact him directly if you like..
