Re: [RC] [RC] risks - Truman PrevattNik,You've done your duty as an MD. I drive mine crazy. I just say, Doc, say want you want to say - but then tell me how I go about doing what I want to do ;-) . He wasn't happy I climbed back on a horse six weeks after my busted ribs. I just told him he told me they would be healed in six weeks and it has been six weeks. I did compromise and buy an eventing vest. As Ed has pointed out - to most of us it is an addiction. As for me, I'd rather go doing what I love if the other choice is to give up what I love. Life is full of risk. So I get a pacemaker and stop riding endurance just to get hit by a car six months later as I cross the street. I'd rather go with my boots on - thank you very much. Nik, don't feel bad - it's not your fault. It's difficult to deal with addictions.
