RE: [RC] [RC] Protective Vests - Ranelle Rubin

Australian Connection has nice ones that are shorter/cut up in the center in front. I have never felt the need for one personally, but I have seen them in their catalog, and they are great folks to work with!

I have searched the archives and still have some
questions.................

1) If you get the shorter vests...........I'm assuming they only protect
your rib cage?
2) If you get the longer vests...........do most people have problems
with them hitting the saddle?  I ride in Western Saddles with fairly
high cantles.
3) Are the additional shoulder pads worth the investment?  Are they
comfortable?
