The three year old (gelded at 8 months), is the worst, and has full stallion-like behavior that comes and goes. Testosterone checked, and he's low for a gelding. Go figure. Kris Such behavior isn't that unusual in geldings, especially ones
around hussy mares. In fact, many breeders I know won't run
geldings with their mare band, just to avoid the possibility of any
STD transmissal during this "play".
