RE: [RC] Looking for stallion - Horse AddressI too rejected many a faulty Arabian stallion. So I searched for a cross that would improve the mind, feet, legs and size of my Arabians. What I found was the ultimate cross - a Shagya Arabian stallion. The Shagya Arabian is a breed of horse that was developed in the late 1700's, by the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, as a cavalry mount. The breed is derived from Hungarian warmblood, Thoroughbred, Lippizan and Arabian bloodstock. They are known for their excellent temperaments and training aptitude. They have more bone than the Arabian, have the endurance, and intelligence of the Arabian, but have solid correct legs and big dense feet. I was so impressed that I bought the stallion on the spot. He is located in Valley Center, in southern California. He is currently in dressage training. Please check him out on my web site at http://home.earthlink.net/~kbvoka/ Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I thought I may get some referrals to some lesser known or not advertised, top quality, proven stallions out there. My preference is polish or russian athletic lines and excellent hoofs and legs. I'm picky so I'm looking for all around quality including good temperament.
