He emerged from the paddock spitting teeth and blood. I called our vet clinic and they referred me to a Bay Area canine dentist who indicated that for $8,000 they could do some implants and tooth restoration. I decided the dog could live nicely without his upper teeth, and he hasn't missed a meal since then. He also hasn't learned anything from that experience.
