Re: [RC] Hard Keepers - rides2farYeah, it's a pain in the butt sometimes, but well worth the effort. Miss Callie, the TB, is starting to put on weight and her coat is much softer for my efforts. That worked great for Ben Amil when we had him here...I put him up at night in the winter and day in the summer. He loved it and had a coat TO DIE for. Problem with this horse is, you put him up and the others out and he takes one bite, then runs over to look out the door, walks twice briskly around the stall, looks out again, then may get another bite. It bothers him so much when they go off and leave them (which they do) that I think it does more harm than good. The good news is that since Kaboot is locked up for his abcess or whatever, this horse is happy to be put up and the other stays up to keep them company. So...I've probably got a week to feed separately. :-) Talked to the owner today and he said to go for it with the 5 day worming. I've bragged so much on how smooth the horse is that I think he's decided to keep him. :-) Angie =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
