Re: [RC] Re:cover photo--helmets, my perspective - rides2farWithout it, lots of people have to be involved in going for help, transporting you out, finding your horse, calling 911, waiting for the ambulance and generally worrying about how badly you are hurt. I saw a person have a diabetic emergency on the trail. I was pretty concerned and sort of surprised at how irritated the others in the group were. Then found out this wasn't the first time and the person tended to make jokes about not being careful. Kill yourself if you must, but don't make a HABIT if making others rescue you!
