[RC] re: helmets - Cindy Collins"When your time is up, it's up." To me, this is the classic response where I would answer, "God helps those who help themselves!" Honestly, I don't care if you are dead, Marirose, theoretically speaking of course, but I do care if you are brain damaged and my tax dollars have to support you for years. Or, if your family decides to sue the ride management, or the land agencies, e tc. Then it becomes part of my problem, too. One of my best friends refuses to wear a helmet and it just really hurts me because I love her so much and don't want to see her hurt. And, she does part from a horse regularly. I've cracked two helmets and just think it's the responsible thing to do. I don't want a rule, I just want people to make good decisions for the sake of their parents, spouses, children, friends and society.
