Re: [RC] Adding accessories to a saddle? - mjwest02

Anyone responding - please post for all to see - I have same questions.

I used a Dixie Midnight under my WINTEC W/cair....and had a thin blanket too.   But since then have just used the thin pad.   I would like any suggestions.

Thanks. Mary

Subject: [RC] Adding accessories to a saddle?

I have a Wintec dressage with CAIR that I would like to do some modifications on so that it would serve me better on the trail. I would like to put some rings on it that I could clip things to and maybe some other modifications. What do you guys think would be most useful to add, and do I need to worry about messing up the CAIR panels? I need to find a good person to do the work and am unsure of where to start!

I also was wondering what a good pad would be for this type of saddle. Right now I have a regular Toklat dressage pad, probably not the best for extended trail riding.

Any and all advice on this would be most welcome. I love this saddle but hate the lack of places to attach things to.

Thanks guys!
