good one - and I love kids, even my own:). But I DON'T want mine or
any one else's being either a nuisance or a hazard at an event where I have
gone to a lot of trouble and paid good money to participate. I don't appreciate
youngsters (or their parents) who cannot control their horses - some racing my
me and clipping my stirrup with their own and then nearly knocking my daughter
off of HER horse - my daughter being about 13 and in full control even AFTER
getting run down. All this with a rider with multiple juniors in a ride, all
going very fast and none in any real semblance of control. If they cannot manage
their own horse in a VERY public situation, I agree with Ed, and those tests
should be of a sort to eliminate the incapable - those who cannot ride without
assistance. Probably age isn't the issue, as there are plenty of A-dults who fit
that description:) lol! s
