Don't know who this is, you don't sign your posts. But, have you noticed
that most horses with high heels are often straighter through the pastern &
shoulder? Thus their conformation as a whole is the predisposition for
navicular. As for low, underrun heels--that can happen on almost any leg
& is often considered bad because of extra stresses on the rest of the
body. I agree with you that it can, over time, be corrected. But no
guarantees. Would you buy it? My thought is, are you willing to get
a farrier that can help & are the horses other qualities worth it?
