I I would prefer to take my older mare (who will be 15 next year) as she has 
been doing this sport since 1999 and is very able to pace herself and relax 
and enjoy the work.  I wonder if this is too old to do her first 100 mile 
ride?The other mare has just as much >>>desire to work, 


You lucky dog. Sounds like you've got TWO 100 mile horses. Better hit ALL the 
rides to get the good out of them...or you can just do like Jody...let a friend 
ride the other one along with you. :-))
